Jivox Inc., which focuses on self-service online video advertising for local business, said it raised $10.7 million in its first round of funding. The company said its product enables smaller and local businesses to harness the power of online video advertising by reducing the cost and complexity of developing and placing online video ads.
The local video ad space is still up for grabs. Newspapers need to move quickly or lose yet another online franchise. More
